„Aeglustumine” on uurimus ajatajust ja kohalolust. Mind huvitavad hetked, mil aeg näib seiskuvat ning ruum avardub – valguse peegeldused asfaldil, värelevad varjud majaseintel, looduse rütmid ja voolamine. Seisatan väljaspool aega.
Maalides keskendun fragmentidele – varjudele, valgusemängudele ja mustritele – tuues need tähelepanu keskmesse. Reaalsusest saab abstraktsioon, jõevoolust rütm ja vibratsioon, elu pulseerimine.
Teosed on valminud mitme aasta jooksul omas tempos, mängides ja katsetades. Tasapisi vormusid need näituseks. Soovin tuua näituseruumi suve lõputu vabaduse, tuule voogamise ja rahu teispool aega.

“Slowdown” explores the perception of time and presence. I am drawn to moments when time seems to pause and space expands — reflections of light on asphalt, flickering shadows on walls, the rhythms and flow of nature. I stand outside of time.
In my paintings I focus on fragments — shadows, plays of light, and patterns — bringing them into the center of attention. Reality becomes abstraction, the flow of a river transforms into rhythm and vibration, the pulse of life.
The paintings were created over several years, at their own pace, through play and experimentation. Gradually they formed into an exhibition. I wish to bring into the exhibition space the endless freedom of summer, flowing wind, and a calm beyond time.
